Pierre is a (final year) PhD candidate researcher in Critical Spatial Practices and Pedagogy at the University for the Creative Arts. He is an Associate Lecturer at the Royal College of Art and assistant lead of superFUTURES within the School of Architecture. Pierre is Co-founding Director of School SOS, a not-for-profit school of Critical Spatial Practices, providing space for Higher Education after-care.
My research calls for justice-centred futures. I’m guided by the relational production of space based on forms of critical social theory. I believe pedagogy is a practice for everyone, and that everyone practices pedagogy.

Pierre has been published in the Architects Journal, Blueprint Magazine, e-flux Architecture and has held research fellowships with the British Council and CAMPO in Rome. His research has been presented internationally including the Enhancing Student Learning Through Innovative Scholarship Conference, and the 4th Valencia International Biennial of Research in Architecture. He is a visiting critic at the Architectural Association, Sheffield University, University of Toronto, Oxford Brookes, amongst others.
Currently in his final year of PhD entitled 'Critical Spatial Praxis: Creating Conditions and Pedagogies of Support', this practice-based thesis centres on the practice of School SOS in its journey to support and nurture the development of Critical Spatial Practices - * spatial work that empowers people toward social justice, and against violence and abuses of power.
Alongside research in architecture, Pierre is a registered architect working across typologies and was awarded the RIBA London Award (2018) as part of his previous team at Stirling Prize winners, Haworth Tompkins.
